Hostal Caulle has established its check-in hours from 15:00 hrs. Y
check out until 11:00 a.m.
Early Check in subject to availability and with the following rates:
• From 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.: 50% of the rate
• Before 10 AM: 100% of the rate
Late Check out subject to availability and with the following rates:
• Until 3:00 p.m.: 50% of the rate
• After 3:00 p.m.: 100% of the rate
The reception of the hostel works from 07:30 to 22:30.

It is considered individual reservation from 1 to 4 rooms. Our response to

Cancellations for individual reservations

In high season (from December 15 to March 03), the cancellation of
the reservation free of charge up to 5 days prior to the arrival of the guest. In low season
(March 4 to December 14), cancellation is allowed without charge up to 72 hours
before the arrival of the guest.
In case of late cancellation, the charge equivalent to the first night will be made
of accommodation + VAT, in low season and 2 nights of accommodation + VAT in
high season. If there is any prepayment or guarantee made by transfer
bank account, the refund will be made as long as the cancellation is made within the
terms established in each season, and will be reimbursed within a maximum term
30 business days.
Reservations of more than 5 rooms will be considered as groups and quoted
punctually, with dead line, special policies and cancellation.

No show

Any passenger who does not show up at the hostel on the day of their reservation, will proceed to
No Show charge corresponding to 1 night in low season and 2 nights in
high season. This payment will be made in pesos and with a national invoice, leaving the
active reservation for the total number of nights reserved only until 09:00 am of the day
following the original arrival. This charge will be made to the credit card holder
left in guarantee or to the company that is requesting the reservation in particular.

Early departure

Early departures will incur a penalty corresponding to the rate of 1 night
in low season and 2 nights in high season if at least 48 hours notice is not given
before the new departure date. If it corresponds to make a refund of money and its
stay was paid by transfer, cash or debit card, the refund
will be made by bank transfer to the account of the owner of the reservation within a period
maximum of 30 business days.


A bank transfer or credit card will be requested to guarantee your reservation,
to which a retention will be made for the value of one night in low season and two
nights in high season, in case you cancel your reservation within the deadline
allowed, the guarantee will be refunded within a maximum period of 30 business days.
Companies and agencies without credit, must make the prepayment of the 100% of the total amount
of the reserve. The maximum term for said payment is 5 days before the date of
guest arrival. Otherwise, the reservation will be cancelled.
Companies or agencies with credit must send a voucher or email, which will guarantee
the reservation and will be attached to the issued invoice.

Children Policy

One child up to 3 years 11 months, free of charge, sharing a bed and room with their
fathers. additional children or older than 4 years pay as an additional passenger, subject
to availability and conditions of the hotel. Cribs available at no cost, upon request and
subject to availability.
Additional Passenger
Rates contemplate a maximum of:
• 1 Pax Single room
• 1-2 Pax Double rooms
• 2-3 Pax Triple rooms (Except room 14 that can accommodate
up to 4 pax.)
Additional passengers to that capacity, who are not within the children's policy,
they must pay an additional supplement of 30% of the value of the rate, sharing beds
and existing furniture. It is not possible to add an additional bed.


The rate includes breakfast service served on the third floor of the hostel, all
days from 08:00 to 10:30 AM, it is granted after spending the night in the Hostel.
Due to the health crisis caused by COVID 19, the breakfast service has been
implemented in such a way that guests do not have contact with utensils
such as sugar bowls, milk jugs or the like, the tables will be set up with everything
what is necessary for their consumption, we will only serve bread to the table according to what
require. The maximum capacity for the breakfast place is 20 people in Phase 4.


Reservations of 5 or more rooms as a Group and will be treated with the following
• Date and availability is guaranteed with payment of 50% of the total, not
refundable in case of cancellation.
• In case of change of dates, the payment will be respected for the new reservation
provided that the change is made at least 20 days in advance.
Subsequent changes lose the subscription.
• Balance of the 50% must be paid at least 96 hours before the payment of
the passengers.
• Final number of passengers will be closed 5 days before the entry of passengers
and may not have a variation greater than 20% with respect to the number initially
quoted. After that period, the number can increase, but not decrease.
• The contracting entity will be responsible for any damage incurred by the
guests of the Group, including damage to the property, bedding and all
property, Hostal Caulle reserves the right to request a credit card
collateral credit.

Anti-tobacco law

** Hostal Caulle is a hotel establishment in which and according to the Law
Anti-tobacco in force N°20660, it is forbidden to smoke in its premises, the
compliance with this Law empowers Hostal Caulle to make the respective complaint
to Carabineros de Chile or PDI.
